About Me

Hi everybody. You are welcome on my profile. Don’t go away immediately. You are here and now at least spend some time to understand me.
I am very very simple and reliable person. I strongly believe in Simple living. Thinking is sometimes high and sometimes low.
I am a family man. I love to spent time with wife and son.
I am a very reserved person. I don’t open up easily.
I am rational thinker. I always separate facts from paradigms.
I believe in Super power controlling nature and believe that all attempts to understand it are much beyond human capacity.
I respect Ideologies of each and every person irrespective of whether I agree with it or not.
Experience taught me that there is no Pap-Punya, Good-Bad etc. Everything is relative.
I like to maintain my as well as others privacy.
I always try to keep myself away from Gossiping.
I do not believe in traditional concept of God
I do not believe in Karmakand.
I am an Ordinary man with Kama, Krodh and Matsar etc.
What I actually do is not necessarily same as what I say and I feel correct. My practical behaviour many times deviates from my ideology.
I don’t like to express our love in the form of Gifts, Money and Flowers etc. These gifts are root cause of all family quarrels.
Unnecessary information like ‘name of beautiful girl who was my co passenger in Udyan Express in 1986 ‘remains permanently embedded in my brain. But I have to put lot of efforts to remember important anniversary and Birth dates. I often get badly punished for this. I take help of reminder facility in mobile for this.
All existing rules, laws are made by Human beings. They are necessary for our group living. But nature’s law is totally different. Punishment is always there if you break it which is not always true with society law.
It is not advisable to make others happy by suppressing our feelings and ambitions.
Happiness is state of mind. It is not a destiny but journey. It is not complete on its own. It exists only when Sorrow is there.
Money is converting tool. You can literally buy everything with it. It is only reliable companion in crises.
I like to help others.
My strengths: Excellent academic track record. I am Post-Graduate Civil Engineer.
Talks less and listens more.
Good patience.
My weaknesses: I don’t mix up with people immediately.
Daydreamer.
Lazy.
Special qualities: Good sense of humor.
Can talk on various subjects.
Can guide you to solve any type of problem.
I can analyze a person and predict his future.

Music: Music for me is Hindi/Marathi film songs, Marathi Bhavgeete and sometimes Shahnai, Tabla, Guitar. I love music but don’t know anything about Classical music. I like soft music. I never tasted Western music like rosk, Jacksons etc.

TV show: I am strong addict of Discovery, National Geographic Channel. I like all shows on Wild Life on any channel. Watching all cricket, Hockey, Football matches was my habit. But finally I realized that my TV addiction is obstructing me in playing other important roles of father, husband etc. Hence two years back my wife and me finally decided to disconnect cable connection and done that. Now we get sufficient time to share with each other. It doesn’t mean that we will not watch TV again. We just postpone it. We miss many good serials, documentaries and sports. But life without TV is also very beautiful.

Movies: In schooldays I have hardly seen any movie. During college days I used to watch typical Hindi movies (Hero-Heroine-Songs-Dance-Judai-Milan) but occasionally. I watched most of the movies on Doordarshan. I prefer art films and Offbeat movies to traditional ones. I like movies of Gulzar, Bimal Roy, V.Shantaram, Sai Paranjape and similar ones. Namkeen, Sutradhaar, Samana, Pinjara, Sholay, Ankush, Jane Bhi Do Yaro, Lago raho munnabhai are some of my favorite movies. Recently I have seen Marathi film ‘Vallu’. Nice film.

Cuisine: I am not very choosy about food. I eat whatever is available. I am lucky to have Surekha as life partner. She takes care of my food. She believes in Chouras Aahar.
‘Eat to Live, Don’t live to eat” is my principle.

Books: Reading books were passion since I was Ten years old. Most of the books that I read were in Marathi or translated in Marathi. During schooldays I was fan of Baba Kadam. Then P.L.Deshpande, G.A.Kulkarni, D.M.Mirasdar, V.P.Kale, Ranjit Desai and more replaced him. Because of my friend circle during college days, I read Narhar Kurundkar, Dhananjay Kir, Rajwade, Dalit Sahitya, Literature related to various social movements, Magazines like Sadhana. This has drastically changed my thinking style and had impact on my life. Now I am regular member of Marathi Granth Sangrahalaya, Thane and read philosophy, science, biographies, analysis and many more. Recently I have finished Kimayagar by Achyut Godbole and Urdu Gazals by Dr.Vinay Waikar.

Activities: I was hardly involved in extra curricular activities in school days. But my joining Govt.College Of Engineering, Karad has totally changed the scenario. My seniors were already running a socially active group’Rashtra Sevak Kranti Dal’. It was started to with aim to convert ordinary person into Karyakarta. I have joined the group and became active member. My stay in the group exposed me to various ideologies from Socialism, Communism, and Capatilism to many more. I was exposed to many new personalities like Karl Marx, Russell etc and seen Mahatma Gandhi, Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Phule etc from different angle. My association with RKD made me socially active and more mature. I learnt to analyze any situation on my own. I was associated with-
Rashtra Sevak Kranti Dal
Chhatrabharati
Rashtra Seva Dal
Lokvidnyan Sanghatana
But with time everything has stopped. Aata Kranti karanyachi aag purnapane vizali aahe. Presently I am distantly related with Samata Vichar Prasarak Sanstha, Thane.
I, along with my friend Mr.Unmesh Bagwe, are operating Inter Caste Marriage Bureau ‘‘Pratibimb”. You can visit us at www.pratibimb.info
